My first visit to a cafe as a greenpoint resident, exciting times. They have a happy hour special from 3-5pm Monday-Friday: $3 cold brew, $5 affogato, $7 mimosa. The cafe features local art for sale as well. Lots of different seating options and nice afternoon sunlight streams through the windows.
Decent bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches. Coffee is really really good. Service is nice but can be pretty slow. Ambiance is very clean and spacious. Seems like a great place to work remotely.
My boyfriend and I came here on a brutally hot afternoon mostly because we needed an air conditioned place to kill a little bit of time. We each got a cold drink and just hung out, but after a while we noticed that we just so happened to be there for one of the only three hours of the week (Thursday-Saturday 6-7 pm) when they have a $7 espresso martini happy hour. I didn't really want alcohol, but for $7 I couldn't turn it down so we each got one. They were great! And what a good deal. The women working were super friendly, and we chatted a little with each of them about fun places closer to where we live to check out and current events. The atmosphere was really relaxed; good music, and not a lot of people inside. I would stop in again when I'm this far north in Greenpoint.
Greenpoint's Bellslip Social isn't just your average coffee shop turned cocktail bar; it's a hub of camaraderie. Walk in and instantly feel like a part of the family with its Cheers-like "Everybody knows your name" vibe. It's likely that after one drink, everybody WILL know your name and you have made plans for the following weekend. The Cocktails and the food are not only made by the super friendly staff, but they are so good- The Espresso Martini made with Shochu and Cardamom espresso and the Mchashwich breakfast sandwich are my favorites! Neither are your typical espresso martini or breakfast sandwich--which is what makes them so special. Fluffy scrambled eggs and cheese, and a crispy hashbrown sandwiched between two slices of brioche heaven, topped with an aioli sauce. I'm getting hungry for one as i write this. Stop in to this neighborhood spot- i promise, you wont regret it!
This is a nice coffee shop in the quiet area of greenpoint. You can miss it easily if you are not paying attention. I enjoy the environment, and sometimes they have a nice R&B playlist going. Ambiance - 5/5 Staff - 5/5 Coffee - average, not to best but not the worst
Hands-down best in the area. There are so many coffee shops to choose from but this is the only choice I need to make. The vibe is awesome, the coffee is top-notch. Guinevere is the best.
Eleva elevates the bar. They are the best. The folks that work there are professional and make great stuff. Great atmosphere. Everything is great. I'll be coming back with my girlfriend.
Gorgeous coffeeshop located on the tip of north Greenpoint. Eleva Coffee takes you away from the hustle and bustle of Greenpoint/Williamsburg since it's located inside one of the newly developed highrises. The space is beautifully decorated with a generous amount of tables, which are especially great for groups. I've been here several times in the early afternoon and experienced quieter settings with customers working on laptops. Personally for me, I enjoyed my times there working and drinking a nice cup of coffee or specialty drink, as they have several concoctions of their own such as a blueberry latte. The prices are reasonable and comparable to neighboring shops. What makes this coffeeshop stand out is the interior, location and the customer service. The drinks I've had were always delicious and I've tried some of their pastries; their dank matcha loaf is my favorite. Eleva also has a spacious unisex bathroom available. Accepts cash, card and Applepay. Bathroom available. Open decently late. Great for working with wifi and outlets. Indoor/outdoor and takeout available. Drink up!
Cute cafe next to the waters, on street side (not waterfront). Friendly staff and posh decor. Tried their latte. Was in the AM when they opened and people were already waiting outside, which is a good sign. They were baking pasties so couldn't order them when we were there, so fyi when you get there when they open, they may not have pastries .
